Hosanna

At war, it starts… A piercing pain,
A wound that burns in pouring rain.
At first, it’s sharp, it cuts so deep,
Yet deeper still, the hurt will creep.

Each day unfolds, a heavier weight,
A fate unknown, a crueler fate.
The body weak, the spirit torn,
No light to guide, just dark is born.

And then it comes… No warning cry,
A veil of black consumes the sky.
No stars remain, no silver glow,
Just endless night, no way to go.

Darkness, cold and near,
A silent scream, a voiceless fear.
No dawn, no hope, just endless gray.
